You will make a short trek with an armed ranger to reach the edge of the crater of Olmoti. The ascent to the crater follows a centuries-old Maasai cattle trail through grasslands, rocky outcrops, and lush forest. From the crater rim you will be able to enjoy beautiful views of the large caldera, covered with grass and crossed by various waterways. You can also descend inside the crater, through an easy path, to reach the suggestive Munge Falls that feed the lake in the center of the Ngorongoro crater.
