You will take an exciting boat trip on Lake Victoria with the traditional canoe, used by local fishermen, to the village of Mwaburugu. During the trip you will be able to observe the hippos, crocodiles and different species of birds that populate the lake. It will also be possible to get off the boat to explore the village on foot and learn the different fishing methods used by the locals. Canoe safaris on Lake Victoria are only carried out in the morning when the lake is calm and the fishermen bring the night’s catch (departure, optionally, between 7.30 and 10.00).
