1 LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
2 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
3 NGORONGORO CRATER
The perfect 6-day safari in Tanzania for those who have little time available but do not want to give up visiting the most famous park in the world: the Serengeti.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (or Arusha) airport, just outside the main exit, you will be received by our guide who will take you to your Lodge in Arusha. If you have time, you can take a tour of the city, accompanied by the guide. Alternatively, relax at the hotel with dinner and overnight stay.

Depart early in the morning to drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will go on a daytime safari. (Approximate transfer time Arusha•Manyara: 2 h 30 min) Lake Manyara is one of the smallest parks in Tanzania (330 km²), but it has a lot to offer. The lake and the surrounding area constitute an ecosystem renowned for its richness in plant and animal species. The vegetation is very varied, with areas of evergreen forests, stretches of savannah, swamps and hot springs (Maji Moto). The fauna includes numerous elephants, baboons, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos, large flocks of pink flamingos and other species. The park is also home to leopards, hyenas and the famous Manyara lions that have the habit of climbing trees in this area. At the end of the game drive, transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight in Karatu. (Approximate transfer time Manyara•Karatu: 30 min)

EXTRA ACTIVITY: TREETOP WALKWAY
Early in the morning, you will leave to reach the most famous park in Tanzania: the Serengeti. (Approximate transfer time Karatu•Serengeti: 2 h 30 min) As you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to admire the dense forest of tall trees and the vastness of the crater from above. As you progress towards the Serengeti, you will understand why the name means, in the Maasai language, “endless plain”. The Serengeti is considered the most famous national park in the world, the cradle of the Great Migration, where every year one of the most impressive natural cycles on the planet is renewed: tens of thousands of ungulates move, guided by the primordial instinct for survival, in constant search of new pastures. The landscape, dotted with large acacias and Kopjes (mounds of ancient rocks), is the ideal habitat for big cats. The safari will end in the afternoon with the transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay inside the park.
The next day of your safari in Tanzania will be entirely dedicated to the discovery of the park where there will be no shortage of opportunities for the sighting of families of giraffes and elephants, large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and smaller ones such as foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, along with more than 500 species of birds. The safari will end in the afternoon with the return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

EXTRA ACTIVITIES: MAASAI BOMA • OLDUVAI GORGE MUSEUM • BALLOON SAFARI
Early in the morning, immediately after breakfast, you will begin the game drive leaving the Serengeti to reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, declared a WORLD HERITAGE SITE (UNESCO 1978) and INTERNATIONAL BIOSPHERE RESERVE (1981). (Approximate transfer time Serengeti•Ngorongoro Conservation Area: 2 h 30 min) The area has become a real ecosystem, thanks to the good rainfall, the ponds, small lakes and internal streams, and the night mist that surrounds and feeds the forests on the slopes of its famous crater. The safari will continue by descending to the bottom of the caldera for an entire afternoon dedicated to discovering one of the most beautiful places on Earth, where nature reigns supreme and remains unchanged over time. The 265 km² caldera has the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. It is one of the very rare places where you can meet the black rhino. In the late afternoon we will climb the crater to leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight in Karatu. (Approximate transfer time Ngorongoro Crater•Karatu: 1 h 30 min)

In the same day you will return to Arusha/Kilimanjaro to take the return flight. Along the way you will have the opportunity to go shopping to buy gifts and souvenirs in the characteristic local shops and bazaars.
(Approximate transfer time Karatu•Arusha: 2 h 30 min • Karatu•Kilimanjaro Airport: 3 h 30 min)
Our Tanzania safari tour operator remains flexible and available in case of special needs, such as early flight or other.
