EXTRA ACTIVITY: KILIMANJARO SCENIC FLIGHT
Depart early in the morning to drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will go on a daytime safari. (Approximate transfer time Arusha•Manyara: 2 h 30 min) Lake Manyara is one of the smallest parks in Tanzania (330 km²), but it has a lot to offer. The lake and the surrounding area constitute an ecosystem renowned for its richness in plant and animal species. The vegetation is very varied, with areas of evergreen forests, stretches of savannah, swamps and hot springs (Maji Moto). The fauna includes numerous elephants, baboons, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos, large flocks of pink flamingos and other species. The park is also home to leopards, hyenas and the famous Manyara lions that have the habit of climbing trees in this area. At the end of the game drive transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

EXTRA ACTIVITIES: TREETOP WALKWAY • NIGHT GAME DRIVE
In the morning you will be accompanied to the Manyara Airstrip to take the flight that will take you to the wild island of Rubondo. (Approximate flight time Manyara•Rubondo: 2 h 15 min) Once you land, you will be greeted outside the airport by the Lodge staff, who will take you to your facility.
Rubondo Island National Park is the largest island park in the world. The island, mainly covered in dense subtropical forest and surrounded by beaches and rocky coves, offers one of the wildest and most unspoiled areas in Africa. The park is home to the wild chimpanzee, which was introduced here in the 1960s to benefit from the island’s remote and protected habitat.
During these two days, according to your needs, you will have the opportunity to participate in some activities such as: game drive with an open vehicle, walking safari in the forest accompanied by an expert guide and boat safaris to explore the sandy shores of Lake Victoria.
You’ll also take part in an exciting and extraordinary trek, entering the island’s pristine tropical forest, to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Sightings of these primates are not guaranteed, however visiting during the dry season, from June to October, offers a better chance of encountering them.

In the morning, you can take part in activities organised by the lodge or relax on the shores of the lake. After lunch, lodge staff will accompany you to Rubondo Airstrip to catch your flight to Serengeti. (Approximate flight time Rubondo•Seronera: 1 h 15 min) Once you land, you will be met outside the airport by one of our guides, who will take you to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay inside the park.
The Serengeti is considered the most famous national park in the world, the cradle of the Great Migration, where every year one of the most impressive natural cycles on the planet is renewed: tens of thousands of ungulates move, guided by the primordial instinct for survival, in constant search of new pastures. The landscape, dotted with large acacias and Kopjes (mounds of ancient rocks), is the ideal habitat for big cats. As you go deeper into the heart of the Serengeti, you will understand why the name means, in the Maasai language, “boundless plain”.
Over the next two days, your safari will continue, thanks to the expertise of our guide, as you explore the park where you will have plenty of opportunities to spot families of giraffes and elephants, large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and smaller animals such as foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, along with more than 500 species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge/Tented Camp.
Depending on your preferences, you can agree with the guide on some options for structuring the days. You can choose to spend the whole day immersed in the park enjoying a packed lunch in front of a spectacular scenery or return to the camp for lunch and to enjoy some free time between morning and afternoon game drives.

EXTRA ACTIVITIES: BALLOON SAFARI • WALKING SAFARI • SPECIAL RHINO VIEWING
On this day, you will continue exploring the Seronera Valley. Along the banks of the river of the same name, you will have the opportunity to see leopards climbing sausage trees, observe numerous prides of lions on the Moru kopjes and, with a little luck, even spot a black rhino. Finally, you can get out of the car at the famous hippo pool and approach the pool to scrutinize the many hippos piled up. In the afternoon, the game drive will continue, leaving the Serengeti to reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, declared a WORLD HERITAGE SITE (UNESCO 1978) AND INTERNATIONAL BIOSPHERE RESERVE (1981). (Approximate transfer time Serengeti•Ngorongoro Conservation Area: 2 h 30 min) At the end of the game drive, transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

EXTRA ACTIVITIES: MAASAI BOMA • OLDUVAI GORGE MUSEUM
Immediately after breakfast, you will descend to the bottom of the crater for a game drive dedicated to the discovery of one of the most beautiful places on Earth, where nature is sovereign and “unchanged over time”. The 265 km² caldera has the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. It is one of the very rare places where you can meet the black rhino. After lunch near the enchanting hippo lake, you will climb back up the crater to leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay in Karatu. (Approximate transfer time Ngorongoro Crater•Karatu: 1 h 30 min)
Early in the morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. During the transfer, you’ll have the opportunity to stop for shopping and gift shopping at the local bazaars. (Approximate transfer time Karatu•Tarangire: 1 h 30 min) Tarangire Park, dotted with enormous baobab trees, covers an area of 2,850 km² and includes the Tarangire River, where, especially during the dry season, huge herds of zebras, wildebeests, oryxes, waterbucks, lesser kudus, giraffes, buffaloes, and their natural predators, such as lions, leopards, and wild dogs, gather. Tarangire is also known for having the highest concentration of elephants in the world and is considered by many to be Tanzania’s best destination for birdwatchers, with over 450 species of birds spotted there. The safari will continue in the afternoon with the transfer to the Lodge/Tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
The following day will be entirely dedicated to exploring the park with morning and afternoon safari. In the late afternoon return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
