1 TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
2 LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
3 NGORONGORO CRATER
4 NDUTU CONSERVATION AREA
5 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
An extraordinary safari in Tanzania to discover the beginning of the eternal cycle of the Great Migration, where life and death meet: the exciting “synchronized” parts of wildebeests and zebras.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (or Arusha) airport, just outside the main exit, you will be received by our guide who will take you to your Lodge in Arusha. If you have time, you can take a tour of the city, accompanied by the guide. Alternatively, relax in the hotel with dinner and overnight stay according to the chosen category.

Early in the morning you will leave, immediately after breakfast, to discover the wonderful Tarangire National Park, with the transfer organized by our tour operator for safari in Tanzania. (Approximate transfer time Arusha•Tarangire: 2 h 30 min) The park, dotted with huge baobabs, covers an area of 2850 km² and includes the Tarangire River, where immense herds of zebras, wildebeests, oryx, water antelopes, lesser kudus, giraffes, buffaloes and their natural predators such as lions, leopards and wild dogs gather, especially during the dry season. Tarangire is also known for having the highest concentration of elephants in the world and is considered by many to be Tanzania’s best destination for birdwatchers, with over 450 species of birds spotted there. After lunch on one of the many natural terraces with breathtaking views of the river and the surrounding nature, the safari will continue in the afternoon with the transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight according to the chosen category.

EXTRA ACTIVITY: NIGHT GAME DRIVE
Depart early in the morning to drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will go on a daytime safari. (Approximate transfer time Tarangire•Manyara: 2 h 30 min) Lake Manyara is one of the smallest parks in Tanzania (330 km²), but it has a lot to offer. The lake and the surrounding area constitute an ecosystem renowned for its richness in plant and animal species. The vegetation is very varied, with areas of evergreen forests, stretches of savannah, swamps and hot springs (Maji Moto). The fauna includes numerous elephants, baboons, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos, large flocks of pink flamingos and other species. The park is also home to leopards, hyenas and the famous Manyara lions that have the habit of climbing trees in this area. At the end of the game drive, transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight in Karatu according to the chosen category. (Approximate transfer time Manyara•Karatu: 1 h)

EXTRA ACTIVITY: TREETOP WALKWAY
In the morning, immediately after breakfast, you will start the game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, declared WORLD HERITAGE SITE (UNESCO 1978) AND INTERNATIONAL BIOSPHERE RESERVE (1981). (Approximate transfer time Karatu•Ngorongoro Conservation Area: 30 min) The area has become a real ecosystem, thanks to the good rainfall, the ponds, the small lakes and internal streams, the night fog that surrounds and feeds the forests of the slopes of its famous crater. After a short stop at the crater rim, you will descend to the bottom of the caldera for a photo safari dedicated to the discovery of one of the most beautiful places on Earth, where nature is sovereign and “unchanged over time”. The 265 km² caldera has the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. It is one of the very rare places where you can meet the black rhino. After lunch near the enchanting hippo lake, you will climb the crater to reach the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight between Lake Ndutu and South Serengeti according to the chosen category. (Approximate transfer time Ngorongoro Crater•Ndutu: 2 h 30 min)

EXTRA ACTIVITIES: MAASAI BOMA • OLDUVAI GORGE MUSEUM
An intense day of sightings awaits you! In the period between December and May the Great Migration is found in this area. The period coincides with the time of the birth of the puppies and witnessing it is a unique emotion, also due to the high presence of felines that try to take advantage of the abundance of herbivores to feast. The low grass plains of this area also attract large numbers of Thomson’s gazelles and cheetahs that follow their migration to Lake Ndutu. Return in the late afternoon to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Departure in the morning towards the Serengeti, considered the most famous national park in the world, cradle of the Great Migration, where every year one of the most impressive natural cycles on the planet is renewed: tens of thousands of ungulates move, guided by the primordial instinct for survival, in constant search of new pastures. The landscape, dotted with large acacias and Kopjes (mounds of ancient rocks), is the ideal habitat for big cats. As you go deeper into the heart of the Serengeti, you will understand why the name means, in the Maasai language, “boundless plain”. Your safari will continue, thanks to the skill of our guide, to discover the park where there will be no shortage of opportunities for the sighting of families of giraffes and elephants, large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and smaller ones such as foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, along with more than 500 species of birds. The game drive will end in the afternoon with transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay depending on the category chosen.
The following day will be entirely dedicated to exploring the park with morning and afternoon safaris. In the late afternoon return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
