The Manyara Treetop Walkway is Tanzania’s first treetop walkway and one of the longest in Africa (370 meters). This activity allows you to enjoy a high-altitude experience through the beautiful forest of Lake Manyara. The guided walk starts at ground level and climbs gently through the tree canopies, until it reaches a height of 18 meters above the ground. Along the way, you will be able to stop on various viewing platforms, built around the trunks of the trees, to observe the wide variety of butterflies, monkeys and birds.
