A unique and fascinating adventure organized by our tour operator for safari in Tanzania in some of its most emblematic parks, where, in addition to discovering the unspoiled and wild nature, you will have the opportunity to experience extraordinary emotions through exclusive and special excursions and activities.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (or Arusha) airport, just outside the main exit, you will be received by our guide who will take you to your Lodge in Arusha. If you have time available, you can take a tour of the city accompanied by a guide. Alternatively, relax at the hotel with dinner and overnight stay.

Your safari in Tanzania will continue early in the morning to cross the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will make the daytime game drive. (Approximate transfer time Arusha•Manyara: 2 h 30 min) Lake Manyara is one of the smallest parks in Tanzania (330 km²), but it has a lot to offer. The lake and the surrounding area constitute an ecosystem renowned for its richness in plant and animal species. The vegetation is very varied, with areas of evergreen forests, stretches of savannah, swamps and hot springs (Maji Moto). The fauna includes numerous elephants, baboons, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos, large flocks of pink flamingos and other species. The park is also home to leopards, hyenas and the famous Manyara lions that have the habit of climbing trees in this area. At the end of the game drive transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After dinner, you will participate in a night safari aboard a jeep equipped with powerful headlights called “spots” for night vision. This type of safari is ideal for witnessing hunting scenes and for spotting some of the more “shy” animals, which are difficult to spot during the day, such as leopards.

Early in the morning, you’ll set off for Tanzania’s most famous park: the Serengeti National Park. (Approximate transfer time Manyara•Serengeti: 4 h) During the journey, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the dense forest of tall trees and the vastness of the crater from above as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you progress towards the Serengeti, you will understand why the name means, in the Maasai language, “endless plain”. The Serengeti is considered the most famous national park in the world, the cradle of the Great Migration, where every year one of the most impressive natural cycles on the planet is renewed: tens of thousands of ungulates move, guided by the primordial instinct for survival, in constant search of new pastures. The landscape, dotted with large acacias and Kopjes (mounds of ancient rocks), is the ideal habitat for big cats. The safari will end in the afternoon with the transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay inside the park.
Today will begin at sunrise, with an experience that will remain in your heart. You will admire the sunrise over the savannah with a fantastic hot air balloon ride. The bird’s-eye view of this ecosystem is a romantic and evocative way to experience the East African wilderness by flying over the vast plains rich in abundant herds of wildlife. At the end of the flight, a rich breakfast will be served in the savannah. This fantastic day will continue to discover the park where there will be opportunities for the sighting of families of giraffes and elephants, large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and smaller ones such as foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, along with more than 500 species of birds. The safari will end in the afternoon with the return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Early in the morning, immediately after breakfast, you will begin the game drive leaving the Serengeti to reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, declared a WORLD HERITAGE SITE (UNESCO 1978) and INTERNATIONAL BIOSPHERE RESERVE (1981). (Approximate transfer time Serengeti•Ngorongoro Conservation Area: 2 h 30 min) The area has become a real ecosystem, thanks to the good rainfall, the ponds, small lakes and internal streams, and the night mist that surrounds and feeds the forests on the slopes of its famous crater. The safari will continue by descending to the bottom of the caldera for an entire afternoon dedicated to discovering one of the most beautiful places on Earth, where nature reigns supreme and remains unchanged over time. The 265 km² caldera has the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. It is one of the very rare places where you can meet the black rhino. In the late afternoon we will ascend the crater to exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay in Karatu. (Approximate transfer time Ngorongoro Crater•Karatu: 1 h 30 min)

Early in the morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. During the transfer, you’ll have the opportunity to stop for shopping and gift shopping at the local bazaars. (Approximate transfer time Karatu•Tarangire: 1 h 30 min) Tarangire Park, dotted with enormous baobab trees, covers an area of 2,850 km² and includes the Tarangire River, where, especially during the dry season, huge herds of zebras, wildebeests, oryxes, waterbucks, lesser kudus, giraffes, buffaloes, and their natural predators, such as lions, leopards, and wild dogs, gather. Tarangire is also known for having the highest concentration of elephants in the world and is considered by many to be Tanzania’s best destination for birdwatchers, with over 450 species of birds spotted there. The safari will continue in the afternoon with the transfer to the Lodge/Tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, a professional ranger will take you on a walking safari through the park’s wide expanses of baobab and acacias, discovering wonderful details of nature, which are difficult to grasp during jeep safaris. This type of safari allows you to establish a much more direct contact with nature. You learn to recognize the traces of animals, from footprints to excrement from which you learn a lot about their habits and their needs. We focus on plants, each of which has formidable properties and we realize how important nature is and gives us all the means to live and survive even in hostile environments.
You will return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for lunch and, after a relaxing break, you will continue the game drive to discover the park. The safari will end in the afternoon with the return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

The morning will be dedicated to the game drive in the park and after lunch you will return to Arusha/Kilimanjaro to take the flight home.
This 8 day safari in Tanzania will have allowed you to explore some of the most iconic areas of the country, living unforgettable experiences in contact with wild nature.
