Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (or Arusha) airport, just outside the main exit, you will be received by our guide who will take you to your Lodge in Arusha. If you have time, you can take a tour of the city, accompanied by the guide. Alternatively, relax at the hotel with dinner and overnight stay.

Your safari in Tanzania will continue early in the morning to cross the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will make the daytime game drive. (Approximate transfer time Arusha•Manyara: 2 h 30 min) Lake Manyara is one of the smallest parks in Tanzania (330 km²), but it has a lot to offer. The lake and the surrounding area constitute an ecosystem renowned for its richness in plant and animal species. The vegetation is very varied, with areas of evergreen forests, stretches of savannah, swamps and hot springs (Maji Moto). The fauna includes numerous elephants, baboons, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos, large flocks of pink flamingos and other species. The park is also home to leopards, hyenas and the famous Manyara lions that have the habit of climbing trees in this area. At the end of the game drive transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

EXTRA ACTIVITY: NIGHT GAME DRIVE • TREETOP WALKWAY
Early in the morning, you’ll set off for Tanzania’s most famous park: the Serengeti. (Approximate transfer time Manyara-Serengeti: 4 hours) During the journey, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the dense forest of tall trees and the vastness of the crater from above as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you progress towards the Serengeti, you will understand why the name means, in the Maasai language, “endless plain”. The Serengeti is considered the most famous national park in the world, the cradle of the Great Migration, where every year one of the most impressive natural cycles on the planet is renewed: tens of thousands of ungulates move, guided by the primordial instinct for survival, in constant search of new pastures. The landscape, dotted with large acacias and Kopjes (mounds of ancient rocks), is the ideal habitat for big cats. The safari will end in the afternoon with the transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay inside the park.
The following two days will be entirely dedicated to the exploration of the Seronera Valley. Along the banks of the river of the same name, you will have the chance to see leopards climbing sausage trees, observe the numerous prides of lions on the Moru kopjes and, with a little luck, even spot a black rhinoceros. Finally, you can get out of the car at the famous hippo pool and approach the pool to scrutinize the many hippos piled up.
Depending on your preferences, you can agree with the guide on some options for structuring the days. You can choose to spend the whole day immersed in the park enjoying a packed lunch in front of a spectacular scenery or return to the camp for lunch and to enjoy some free time between morning and afternoon game drives. You will also experience a romantic dinner in the bush during your stay.

EXTRA ACTIVITIES: OLDUVAI GORGE MUSEUM • MAASAI BOMA • BALLOON SAFARI • WALKING SAFARI • SPECIAL RHINO VIEWING
Early in the morning, immediately after breakfast, you will begin the game drive leaving the Serengeti to reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, declared a WORLD HERITAGE SITE (UNESCO 1978) and INTERNATIONAL BIOSPHERE RESERVE (1981). (Approximate transfer time Serengeti•Ngorongoro Conservation Area: 2 h 30 min) The area has become a real ecosystem, thanks to the good rainfall, the ponds, small lakes and internal streams, and the night mist that surrounds and feeds the forests on the slopes of its famous crater. The safari will continue by descending to the bottom of the caldera for an entire afternoon dedicated to discovering one of the most beautiful places on Earth, where nature reigns supreme and remains unchanged over time. The 265 km² caldera has the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. It is one of the very rare places where you can meet the black rhino. In the late afternoon we will climb the crater to leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight in Karatu. (Approximate transfer time Ngorongoro Crater•Karatu: 1 h 30 min)

Early in the morning, you will depart, immediately after breakfast, to reach the northern shore of Lake Eyasi where you will meet the local tribes of the Hadzabe and the Datoga. (Approximate transfer time Karatu•Eyasi : 1 h) The Hadzabe are one of the most primitive peoples on the African continent. They live exclusively by hunting and are gatherers of the spontaneous fruits of nature such as berries, tubers and honey. They do not know agriculture, writing and forms of political organization. The Datoga are a population of semi-nomadic shepherds, easily recognizable by the elongated lobes and the showy tattoos on the face and back that make breeding their main source of livelihood, even if over the centuries they have introduced the practice of cultivating corn and millet. During the visit, you can participate with the Hadzabe men in bush hunting, learn with the women the use of medicinal plants collected in the savannah, admire the art of working the metals used to create jewelry, knives, arrows and participate in the lively ritual of grinding corn on stone to obtain flour. At the end of the activities, return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Early in the morning, after a good breakfast, you will depart to reach Tarangire National Park, during the transfer you will have the opportunity to stop for shopping and gifts in the local bazaars. (Approximate transfer time Karatu•Tarangire : 2 h 30 min) The park, dotted with huge baobabs, covers an area of 2850 km² and includes the Tarangire River, where immense herds of zebras, wildebeests, oryx, water antelopes, lesser kudus, giraffes, buffaloes and their natural predators such as lions, leopards and wild dogs gather, especially during the dry season. Tarangire is also known for having the highest concentration of elephants in the world and is considered by many to be Tanzania’s best destination for birdwatchers, with over 450 species of birds spotted there. After lunch on one of the many natural terraces with breathtaking views of the river and the surrounding nature, the safari will continue in the afternoon with the transfer to the Lodge/Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.
The following day will be entirely dedicated to exploring the park. Walking along the paths along the river, you can admire beautiful views with elephants intent on playing with water. In the late afternoon return to the Lodge/Tented Camp where, before dinner, you will be served a romantic aperitif at sunset.
The next day, after a short game drive, you will return to Arusha/Kilimanjaro to take the flight that will take you to the magnificent island of Zanzibar. (Approximate transfer time Tarangire•Arusha Airport: 2 h • Tarangire•Kilimanjaro Airport: 3 h)
(Approximate flight time Arusha•Zanzibar: 1 h 15 min • Kilimanjaro•Zanzibar: 1 h) Once you land, you will be greeted outside the airport by the resort staff, who will take you to your property.

EXTRA ACTIVITY: NIGHT GAME DRIVE • WALKING SAFARI
The Zanzibar archipelago is still one of the most pristine terrestrial paradises in the world with white beaches, crystal clear sea, seabed with colorful corals and fish, palm trees, lush forests and exotic animals. The island has been for centuries a meeting point between Arab, Indian and African traditions and preserves the signs of the passage of numerous peoples: from the Persians, who founded the town of Stone Town, to the Arabs and Indians, who used it as a stopover on the routes between Africa and Asia. During your holiday you can relax on the beach or by the pool, immerse yourself in the blue water of the ocean or go on excursions to discover this fascinating island.
On the last day, you will be escorted by the resort staff to Zanzibar Airport to catch your flight home. This itinerary is perfect for those who want to experience a honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar, completely immersing themselves in the magic of African nature.
