Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp is a tented camp intimately set in a delightful ancient acacia forest near the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. The camp has nine spacious tents carefully placed to ensure privacy and with minimal impact on the pristine forest environment. They house two queen-size beds and, since it can get cool at night on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, small luxuries such as warm winter duvets, hot water bottles and gas stoves that ensure a restful night’s sleep. The spacious en-suite bathrooms have a dressing area, flushing toilet and a large safari-style shower. The canteen tent is beautifully furnished with large sofas, lamps, bookcases and antique wood corner cabinets, chests and rugs. In the evening, guests can gather around the campfire to exchange tales of the day’s safari, followed by a sumptuous and hearty meal.
