Oliver’s Camp

Oliver’s Camp is a sober and comfortable tented camp that is reminiscent of the safari camps of yesteryear. It is located in the remote southeastern parts of Tarangire National Park, near the game-rich Silale Swamps. In April and May, at the end of the annual rains, the landscape is lush and dotted with wildflowers. From August to October, herds of antelopes and zebras pass through Tarangire. Right now, the park has the highest concentration of mammals in the country. The camp has ten en-suite tents overlooking a floodplain and decorated in earth tones to reflect the landscape. The beds are single or king-size. The bathrooms have flushing toilets and indoor and outdoor showers. The private veranda is the perfect place to sit with a cold drink and enjoy the quiet and serenity of the African bush. The Oliver’s team has been working together for years, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
